We had the pleasure of making portraits with 7 days brand new Ian. This little boy was great, he just settled nicely on almost every pose we put him on. Ian made no more than 3 little sounds during his session. Here is a sneak peek of some of his poses.

This little Angel decided she wanted to join us early, by six weeks. Meet Olivia, at one month she was so sweet to mold and wrap; as if she was born 3 days ago. It was a lot of fun moving from pose to pose. Congrats Mom and Dad, enjoy your sneak peek.

We had the pleasure of documenting Skye's First Communion. Communions are like mini weddings, where many photographer's challenges are presented at the same time. There is artificial lighting mixed with natural light, cluttered backgrounds, not to mention restriction on photography during the ceremony. But none of those challenges matter as long as your subject is happy. Skye was such a sport and managed to hang tough, despite the crowds competing for portrait space at the same spots. Meet Zia, at a little over a week old, we had  a chance to play with her and capture some nice smiles. Although she was awake for the whole session, we enjoyed propping her using a combination of props we brought, as well as, those that the parents wanted to use.

We've been behind on our blog as we were a bit busy for the holiday season, and planning for 2012. But, we wanted to share our last newborn session of 20111. Meet baby J. We had the pleasure of capturing this bundle of joy at 10 days old. We started the session with some outfits picked out by mom, then got a little creative as baby J. got more comfortable with the flow. What a treat she was to work with.
